House of Athlete releases digital fitness platform
Wellness brand House of Athlete has started 2023 by launching its HOA+ digital fitness platform.
House of Athlete is a series of gyms launched by NFL star Brandon Marshall. Now, the brand has taken its vision to the world of digital fitness, with a new app targeted at athletes and aspiring fitness fanatics looking to enjoy high-end workouts and routines.
The digital fitness app comes with two membership tiers that users can select, with different price points for Coaching or Live Personal Training.
House of Athlete says the HOA+ app allows users to train for the entire month for the cost of one session, with training programmes that are supported by a network of coaches and specialists. Workout sessions can be synchronised to users’ wearable items like the Apple Watch, offering an expanded way of tracking fitness and progress.
The app also contains a menu of recipes from performance-focused chefs that are tailor-made to boost nutrition. There are recipes for breakfast smoothies and even tips on weekly meal preparation.
Furthemore, the House of Athlete digital fitness platform puts a distinct focus on the recovery aspect of working out, with guided classes that can help users with their breathing and cooling down after a session.
Even if users prefer to train alone, the HOA+ app also hosts an online community of members, with live virtual events and Q&As to help athletes engage and learn from their peers.
“The demand for our brand and offering far exceeds our ability to expand into new markets with brick-and-mortar locations. As we grow, we see HOA+ as an opportunity to scale quickly as a perfect compliment to our member experience,” said Becca McCarthy, Chief Operating Officer at HOA.
“The biggest challenges for new entrants in the digital and hybrid fitness space in 2023 are user acquisition and differentiation, and I’m confident in our strategies for both.”
