Ecovacs launches innovative new robot vacuum cleaner
Chinese robotic vacuum specialist, Ecovacs has launched a new Deebot – the T9 – into its range, which simultaneously sweeps, vacuums and mops the floor, and includes an “industry-first” built-in air freshener.
With Ozmo Pro 2.0 technology, Ecovacs says the T9 can more effectively remove stubborn stains, while the ultra-high suction power means it can effectively pick up debris from hard floors and carpets. It also comes with disposable mopping pads and is compatible with the Ecovacs Auto Empty Station which allows the T9 to empty itself into a sealed disposable dust bag that holds up to 30 days of debris.
Features of the new Deebot include TrueDetect 3D 2.0 – upgraded 3D detection and obstacle avoidance technology, which promises to detect objects with high-precision resolution and to strategically avoid obstacles and ensure no collision, entanglements or disruptions.
It also features TrueMapping 2.0, which, according to the company, enables the machine to adapt to a variety of complex environments, navigates smoothly in light or total darkness to get your home thoroughly cleaned anytime.
Users can control and customise their cleaning schedule with the newly designed Ecovacs Home app, as well as a personalised experience with a 3D map that captures a real-life view of the home, the company says.
Finally, the T9 also comes equipped with what Ecovacs describes as an “industry-first” with its built-in Air Freshener. The freshener is designed to spread fragrance and effectively remove musty smells and pet odour, with three fragrances to choose from.
