Redmi 10A, the latest device in the Redmi 10 series, unveiled by Xiaomi

Xiaomi says it is dedicated to bringing consumers a well-rounded user experience at an affordable price.

Redmi 10A offers a large 6.53-inch HD+ display, while the device also features a rear fingerprint sensor to make it more convenient to unlock.

It comes with a 13-megapixel main camera, as well as a 2-megapixel depth camera that helps to achieve a natural blur effect in the background when you take portraits.

Powering up Redmi 10A is a MediaTek Helio G25 processor, with an octa-core CPU up to 2.0GHz. Equipped with a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery and 10W fast charging, Redmi 10A provides enough power to last users a full day, Xiaomi said.

Redmi 10A comes in three colours, Graphite Gray, Chrome Silver and Sky Blue. The Redmi 10A comes in three storage variants, 2Gb+32Gb, 3Gb+64Gb and 4Gb+128Gb.

Meanwhile Xiaomi has also announced the launch of Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 11S 5G, which complements its popular Redmi Note 11 Serie.

Built with industry-leading dual charge pumps to deliver the fast charging speed, the device also ensures charging safety and stability with more than 40 safety features, as well as attaining TÜV Rheinland’s Safe Fast-Charge System certification.

Xiaomi says it is raising the bar for a flagship camera experience with the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, which in addition to the previously mentioned 108-megapixel primary camera, is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel tele-macro camera. 

The main camera features a Samsung HM2 sensor and dual native ISO, allowing users to capture every moment in high resolution and true-to-life details, even in low light conditions. The device also comes with a 6.67in FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay, with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate that makes scrolling and swiping straightforward.

Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, which is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, comes in three variants – 6Gb+128Gb, 8Gb+128Gb and 8Gb+256Gb.

Meanwhile, Redmi Note 11S 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with support from dual 5G SIM.

Taking advantage of the power-efficient 6nm manufacturing process and a large 5,000mAh battery, Redmi Note 11S 5G provides the power you need to stay connected all day long. The device also delivers high-res photography thanks to the 50-megapixel AI triple camera, allowing users to capture various perspectives with its 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel macro lens.

Redmi Note 11S 5G comes in three variants – 4Gb+64Gb, 4Gb+128Gb and 6Gb+128Gb.

In its 2021 Annual Results, Xiaomi Corporation reported that its sales reached €46.6 billion, a 33.5% increase on the previous year.

In 2021, the company said global smartphone shipments hit record annual highs of 190.3 million units and a market share of 14.1%.

Xiaomi said that it ranked among the top five manufacturers in 62 markets globally and the number one brand in 14 markets in terms of market share for smartphone shipments.

The company said that despite challenges around global economies, Xiaomi’s resilient business model achieved healthy annual growth. 

In 2021, adjusted net profit for the year came in at €3.1bn, representing an increase of 69.5% year-on-year.
