Italian appliance brand, Smeg has partnered with renowned champagne house, Veuve Clicquot to create two limited edition FAB28 and FAB10 refrigerators. Each applies Veuve Clicquot’s staple yellow shade to Smeg’s signature retro designs.

Celebrating the 250^th anniversary of the Maison de Champagne, which has been crafting luxury champagne since 1772, the “Clicquot fridge” is said to represent the Maison’s French legacy, merging this with the FAB’s Italian heritage.

Commemorating this momentous anniversary, Veuve Clicquot has unveiled its “The Icons” project – a collection of revived products which symbolised the champagne brand’s innovation and design throughout its rich history, Smeg said in a press release. First produced in 1997, the Italian brand says its FAB design has become iconic, making it the perfect partner to celebrate Veuve Clicquot’s anniversary.

The fridge features the soft curves Smeg is known for and stands at just 970mm tall. It is also adorned with Smeg’s signature stainless steel lettering and Veuve Clicquot’s instantly recognisable logo. The fridge’s door provides convenient storage whilst its inner shelves can be adjusted for convenience.

For those wanting to “add a celebratory statement to the home”, Smeg recommends the FAB28 – a full-sized refrigerator, which holds up to 54 bottles of the finest champagne.

It boasts adjustable shelves, making it suitable for an array of families and preferences, the Italian brand says.

In addition to LED strip lighting and detailed chrome supports, the larger “Clicquot fridge” also features metal wine racks to ensure bottles of Veuve Clicquot are displayed and stored at their best.
