MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 makes the Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G an ideal smartphone for gaming
The Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G has a variety of innovative features, including MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 gaming technology which apparently makes video game experiences run smooth and reliably.
Oppo says its MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX chip is the reason why the Reno8 Pro 5G has a high-end gaming display, which allows for high quality resolution and smooth running speeds.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX chip features MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 gaming technology which is suited for video game optimisations over both Wi-Fi and 5G.
Furthermore, there are improvements in the phone’s Dual-Link True Wireless Stereo Audio and Bluetooth LE Audio technology, which means video games can have 170 frame rates, along with UFS 3.1 storage and Quad-channel LPDDR5 memory which boost data streaming speeds.
“The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 is a best fit for OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G as it enables superlative HFR Gaming experience, octa-core CPU with a speed over 2.85GHz, and latest Arm Mali-G610 MC6 graphics engine that allows 20% power savings, longer battery and other game-enhancements to provide a seamless mobile gaming experience to each and every OPPO smartphone use,” Oppo says of its game-ready smartphone.
To avoid latency, the phone features MediaTek Intelligent Display Sync 2.0, with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. MediaTek Dimensity 8100 also onboards the most recent Wi-Fi 6E standard using MediaTek Wi-Fi Fast Path technology.
However, the Oppo Reno8 Pro 5G is not just about guaranteeing fast speed times. By using both APU and AI-GPU Super Resolution, the mobile phone can upscale image resolution, offering users what Oppo describes as “premium picture quality.”
