OLED Microdisplays slated for robust growth worldwide up to 2026

A new market study published by Global Industry Analysts titled “OLED Microdisplays – Global Market Trajectory & Analytics” presents fresh perspectives on opportunities and challenges in a significantly transformed post COVID-19 marketplace.

Global OLED Microdisplays Market to Reach $130.4 Million by 2026
Amid the COVID-19 crisis, the global market for OLED Microdisplays estimated at US$46m (€39.5m)  in the year 2020, is projected to reach a revised size of US$130.4m (€112m) by 2026, growing at a CAGR of 18.8% over the analysis period.

Near-to-Eye (NTE), one of the segments analysed in the report, is projected to record a 17.5% CAGR and reach US$67m (€57.55m) by the end of the analysis period.

After a thorough analysis of the business implications of the pandemic and its induced economic crisis, growth in the Projection segment is readjusted to a revised 21% CAGR for the next 7-year period.

The U.S. Market is Estimated at $16.5 Million in 2021, While China is Forecast to Reach $22.8 Million by 2026
The OLED Microdisplays market in the U.S. is estimated at US$16.5m (€14.17m) in the year 2021. China, the world’s second largest economy, is forecast to reach a projected market size of US$22.8m (€19.59) by the year 2026 trailing a CAGR of 18.2% over the analysis period.

Among the other noteworthy geographic markets are Japan and Canada, each forecast to grow at 16.9% and 16.3% respectively over the analysis period. Within Europe, Germany is forecast to grow at approximately 13.9% CAGR.
