Miele’s IFA forecast

Bernhard Hörsch, Commercial Director of Sales at Miele Germany, presented at IMB 2022 the key innovations that companies and consumers should know about.

The claim “even more comfortable, smarter and more sustainable“ was matched by stunning new innovations. He was presenting their third flagship store in Düsseldorf, which has just recently opened. “Together to consumer” is the strategy the company is pursuing with their three flagship stores and the retail trade. Additionally, Miele is also working on product improvements. At IFA in September 2022, the company will present its strongest vacuum cleaner with 60% more suction power than the previous model, along with the critically-acclaimed Scout RX3 robot vacuum cleaner.

Miele will also introduce its new steam cooker innovation. The Combination will include two full-featured devices in one: an oven and a steam cooker. It will cost around €1,999 and is regarded to be an affordable option for kitchens with limited space. The DGC Pro will be shown exclusively at the IFA 2022. Other innovations on show include the new oven H2400, which is fully network-compatible and features cooking plates with an integrated fume extraction hood. The new K4000 Freezer includes the new Fresh Active humidity control, which makes vegetables three times less perishable. Those will be the highlights of this year’s trade show. At IFA in September, Miele will exhibit 400 devices, with the company’s showcase also featuring live cooking shows.

Aside from new and exciting products, the company is also expanding its business. Hörsch, explained that, despite facing challenges with the supply chain, the company’s total revenue was growing in 2020 and 2021. With its new products, Miele is continuing to innovate with successful results.
