Gorenje has a rich history of involvement in European handball, having started its sponsorship journey at the Men’s EHF EURO 2018 in Croatia. The brand’s presence continued in subsequent championships in 2020 and 2022.

Capitalising on the success of their partnership with the men’s events, Gorenje has now extended the project to include the Women’s EHF EURO in 2024 and 2026. This long-term agreement was facilitated by Infront Sports & Media, the European Handball Federation’s exclusive media and marketing partner.

Looking ahead to the Men’s EHF EURO 2024, Gorenje has enhanced its sponsorship package to include a range of visible and digital rights. Among the digital rights, the company will have the opportunity to present the regular Top-5-Goals clips and the official in-app match predictor of the EHF EURO.

Additionally, the team will be able to organise half-time activities and continue their successful #simplyfans sponsorship communication platform, which has been actively engaged in European handball and football since 2017.
