Miele’s IFA forecast: Comfortable, Smart, Sustainable

Bernhard Hörsch, Commercial Director of Sales at Miele, presented the key innovations which companies and consumers should know about at Innovations Media Briefing 2022.

The company’s claim “even more comfortable, smarter and more sustainable“ was matched by a string of stunning innovations. Mr Hörsch was presenting their new flagship store in Düsseldorf, part of the company’s “Together to consumer” strategy. In addition, Miele is also working on product improvements. At IFA, the company will presents its strongest vacuum cleaner with 60% more suction power than the previous model, along with the critically-acclaimed Scout RX3 robot vacuum cleaner. Miele will also introduce its new steam cooker innovation. The Combination will include two full-featured devices in one: an oven and a steam cooker. It will cost around €1,999 and is regarded to be an affordable option for kitchens with limited space. The DGC Pro will be shown exclusively at the IFA 2022. Other innovations on show include the new oven H2400, which is fully network-compatible and features cooking plates with an integrated fume extraction hood. The new K4000 Freezer includes the new Fresh Active humidity control, which makes vegetables three times less perishable. In total, Miele will exhibit 400 devices, with the company’s showcase also featuring live cooking shows.

Aside from new and exciting products, the company is also expanding its business. Hörsch explained that, despite facing challenges with the supply chain, the company’s total revenue was growing in 2020 and 2021. With its new products, Miele is continuing to innovate with successful results.
