LG Electronics rolls out red tech carpet for visitors at IFA 2022

Under the theme “Life, Reimagined”, visitors can embark on a journey through LG’s universe of smart life solutions in Hall 18.

They can experience first hand the company’s latest innovations on display throughout the hall.

One of the brand’s major highlights at this year’s trade show is the premium 97″ OLED evo Gallery Edition TV, the “world’s largest OLED TV” according to LG, which is impossible to miss at the entrance, with its self-lit OLED picture quality, advanced AI-based image-processing technologies and impressive scale.

Just a stone throw away, the Flex Arcade Zone, with its bright neon lights, is full of the company’s latest gaming products, including the LG OLED Flex Gaming TV. There are also several gaming stations where visitors can try out new console games and old-school classics.

In the Lifestyle Zone, visitors can sit back and relax in a comfy armchair, and watch as LG’s stylish TVs blend into the stylish living space and transform into what the company describes as a “work of art”. They can also enjoy LG’s OLED Objet Collection, its newest audio solutions, such as the distinctive LG XBOOM 360 wireless speaker, and exclusive furniture pieces and home accessories from premium Dutch lifestyle brand, Moooi.

LG’s Insta View powered by ThinQ was developed to brighten the mood. The MoodUP Refrigerator’s doors serve as a screen which can be customised to display various colours or backgrounds. But it’s not just about screens.

Also part of LG’s ecosystem, is the LG PuriCare Aero Furniture which will deceive visitors into thinking it is simply a piece of furniture, when I’m fact it is an air purifier and wireless phone charger as well. Needless to say the LG hall is a must visit for anyone looking to catch a glimpse of what a smart home might look like in the near future.

LG’s Tone Free fit earbuds, designed in collaboration with Meridian, are waterproof, even in running water and can be tested upon request. Step into LG’s ThinQ ecosystem which connects all of its latest home appliances. Devices, including the LG Washtower and LG Styler Series can be remote controlled via the company’s ThinQ App.

Other innovations on display at IFA include LG’s total shoe care solution, the LG Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare, AI washer and dryer models that make laundry management faster and more convenient. attendees can also get ‘hands on’ with LG’s latest ergonomics- and productivity-enhancing monitors at the Ergo Monitor Workstation, and its growing selection of gaming displays at the UltraGear Gaming Monitor Play Zone.

LG Electronics is revolutionising the at-home shoe care experience with the introduction of LG Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare at IFA 2022. Equipped with the company’s hygiene-enhancing TrueSteam technology, LG’s total shoe care solution provides an ideal environment for storing shoes by protecting against humidity and fabric-discoloring UV light. It is also a great way for shoe enthusiasts to show-off their favorite pairs, offering interior features such as a 360-degree rotating turntable and a modular design that makes it possible to stack up to four cases on top of one another. Moreover, the new LG Styler ShoeCare solution optimizes the management of various shoe types, including leather, suede and sports footwear, with its 10 different courses. Depending on the type and fabric of the shoe, it sophisticatedly controls its use of TrueSteam to refresh the shoe.
